The Financial Accounting Division is responsible for recording financial transactions of the County and providing timely and accurate interim and annual financial reporting.
Financial Accounting duties include:
- Processing journal entries, budget amendments and line item transfers
- Maintaining the integrity of the financial records of grants including auditing payable associated with grants, preparing requests for reimbursements and preparing the financial reports associated with several grants,
- Reporting functions including the monthly Auditor's Report, construction in progress reporting to the US Census Bureau, Forfeiture reporting, monthly Expenditure Reports for all elected officials or department heads,
- Preparing data for the annual budget preparation,
- Munis table administration, monthly close and cleanup
